Welcome to the Priors Park Chapel Website.

Priors Park is an affordable housing estate in Tewkesbury of about 1,000 homes.  It is an area of high unemployment with many households struggling on low income The Chapel was built in the post-war years by people who had a love and concern for the people in this area - a concern we share today.  Our mission is summarised in Jesus’ two great commandments - to love God with all our heart and to love our neighbour as ourself. We attempt to display this love in everything we do at the Chapel including our parent toddler group, children’s club and monthly coffee and chat meeting.  If you would like to know more or join the team please don’t hesitate to contact me.

We run an introductory course called 'God, Jesus and Stuff' for those wishing to find out more about the Christian Faith.  We have created this course with the needs of the people living on the Park in mind.

We enjoy close fellowship with other churches in Tewkesbury.  Four times a year we hold a joint evening service at different church venues.  The ministers of the local churches also meet together regularly to share news and pray for each other.

Sundays

Sunday services begin at 10.45am and usually last about one hour.

During the service the speaker will talk about a passage from the Bible and explain its relevance often with a PowerPoint presentation.

We use Combined Mission Praise and enjoy a good mixture of traditional and contemporary songs and hymns.

Tea and coffee are served after the service and visitors are encouraged to stay.

Life Group

The Life Group is a small group of young Christians meeting for a relaxing time of fun, food and fellowship. Using the visual Bible, we learn how to follow Jesus more closely and live out our faith at school, college or work.

We recently spent an evening together ice skating. For us, the highlight of the year is the youth holiday at Foremarke Hall near Derby.
